Pray honestly

Pray honestly,
Unceasingly –

Say all
You want to say.

Then listen
In the silence,

As God speaks to you
Today.

Spend time alone
To seek God’s holy presence;

Be silent
As you listen for his voice.

You may see his dazzling glory;

And in stillness
You may join his sacred dance.

Lord God, I pray
For all, today,

Who will not listen
For your voice,

Or make the choice

To seek your Son,
The Holy One,

And follow him,
Our humble King.
