Prayer, suffering, life, courage, help, bear, illness, mental, physical,

It is pointless
To resent, or hate,
Our illness,

For anger
Will not make it
Go away.

Help us to live
With how we are,

To manage,
And to learn
From it,

Making the best
We can
Of every day.

Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows (John 16:33; NLT).

Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity (Hebrews 6:1; NIV).

I was given a thorn in my flesh […] Three times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:7-9; NLT).

When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow (James 1:3; NLT).

For examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord (James 5:10; NLT).

Whatever we must face today,
Please help us to manage it
The very best we can,
Enduring it all patiently,
With you.
