Prayer, spiritual development, personal growth, faith, exploration, wholeness,

You give everyone your sunlight,
You give everyone your rain;

You give everyone your Son, Lord,
You give everyone your name.

So everyone deserves our kindness,
Everyone deserves our love;

Everyone deserves our help,
So earth becomes like heaven above.

He gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike (Matthew 5:45; NLT).

God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son (John 3:16; NIV).

I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name (Ephesians 3:15; NIV).

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them (Romans 12.9; NLT).

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10; NLT).

The Kingdom of God is already among you (Luke 17:21; NLT).

The Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below (Joshua 2:11; NLT).

Unfailing love

My Father’s house has many rooms (John 14:2; NIV).

The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made (Psalm 145:9; NIV).

He loves us with unfailing love (Psalm 117:2; NLT).

You are the infinite
Everlasting God,

Who gives us endless room
For exploration,

Who has ten thousand names
Around the world,

And cares for all
With deep, unfailing love.

One God

Do we not all have one Father? Did not one God create us? (Malachi 2:10; NIV).

There is […] one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Ephesians 4:4-6; NIV).

The highest heavens and the earth and everything in it all belong to the Lord your God (Deuteronomy 10:14; NLT).

Although we call on you
By different names,

And though we worship you
In different ways,

And though we see you
Partially, and differently,

You are the one and only

And all of us
Belong to you alone.

One God

I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God (Isaiah 45:5; NIV).

There is …one God and Father, who is over all in all and living through all (Ephesians 4:5-6; NLT).

I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world (Jeremiah 32:27; NLT).

You are light,
And fire,
And love,
And peace.

There is no God but you –
However many names
We give you
Here on earth.

“Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground” (Exodus 3:5; NLT).

You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people (Ephesians 2:19; NLT).

Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy! (Psalm 99:3; NLT).

With you all days are holy,
All ground is holy,
And all people are holy.

We live in your holy presence,
Rest in your holy care,
And praise your holy name.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord,

What counts?

What counts?

Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness (Matthew 23:28; NLT).

I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold (John 10.16).

My Father’s house has many rooms (John 14:2).

Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him” (Acts 10:34-5).

It’s not what we say we believe
That counts with you, is it?

It’s how we seek you,
How we live,
And how we behave towards others.

It’s everything we think,
And say,
And do –

No matter what name
We call you by,
Or how we worship you.
