A bike weekend

A few years ago, when I could still manage my electric bike, I had an unforgettable weekend at Morecambe Bay, in the United Kingdom. As I’m agoraphobic, this was very challenging, and it remains the most daring journey I’ve ever undertaken on my own. It meant travelling by ferry from the Isle of Man across the Irish Sea to Heysham, in Britain, then cycling to Hest Bank, where I stayed in a small guest house. Here is a photo-diary of what I saw and did.

Tap any photo twice to enlarge the slideshow to full screen size, as this will make the captions easier to read. It takes a few seconds to load, so please be patient.
