What is love?

* Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).
My dear Father,
Thank you that love is
A carefully considered strategy,
An attitude of mind,
An act of will,
A settled intention of the heart,
A readiness to serve,
A practical action,
A delight in giving –
Not an emotion.
