Contemplation

Contemplation

…let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him (Hebrews 10:22; NLT).

Clouds and thick darkness surround him (Psalm 97:2; NIV).

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10; NIV).

Be silent before the Sovereign LORD (Zephaniah 1:7; NIV).

“My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed (John 20:28; NLT).

Father,
In contemplation,
I step into your presence –

Into darkness,
And you are there;

Into stillness,
And you are there;

Into silence,
And you are there.

How great you are,
My Lord and my God!
