Though I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me (Psalm 23:4; KJV).
The Lord is near (Philippians 4:5; NIV).

Lord,
You’re in my emptiness,
My wilderness,
My night;
Lord,
You’re in my suffering,
My loneliness,
My plight;
Lord,
You’re in my tiredness,
My misery,
My fear –
So,
No matter how hard
Life may be,
I know you’re always near.
