Come close to God,
and God will come close to you
(James 4:8; NLT).
1. Lord,
May I come close to you
In prayer,
Trusting in your presence
And your care.
2. Lord,
May I live close to you
Each day,
Trusting in your gospel
And your way.
3. Lord,
May I draw close to you
In death,
Trusting in your love
Till my last breath.
4. Lord,
May I rest close to you
In grace,
Then I’ll know your kiss,
And see your face.
