You need to persevere,
so that when you have done the will of God,
you will receive what he has promised
(Hebrews 10:36; NIV).
1. In darkness,
May I persevere,
Walking, always, Lord,
In faith.
2. In sorrow,
May I persevere,
Waiting, always, Lord,
In hope.
3. In dryness,
May I persevere,
Living, always, Lord,
In love.
4. In sickness,
May I persevere,
Until we meet
Beyond death’s flood.

Three things will last forever –
faith, hope, and love –
and the greatest of these is love
