All we say (#1 of 4 linked reflections)

I tell you the truth,
when you did it to one of the least
of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me
(Matthew 25:40; NLT).

All we say
Is said to you, Lord.

All we do
Is done to you.

All we think
Is known to you, Lord.

All we feel
Is plain to you.

O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me
(Psalm 139:1; NLT).

  • Your poem brought to mind a plaque that hangs near our kitchen table. It was given to us by a dear woman of God–much like yourself. It says, “Christ is the center of our home, a guest at every meal, a silent listener to every conversation.” Blessings!

    • Ah, yes, a very similar way of saying the same thing, I guess. Take care, and may God bless you, and all you love, today XXXX
