He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person (Genesis 2:7; NLT).
I breathe you in,
And breathe you out;
Your presence makes me whole.
I breathe you in,
And breathe you out;
One body, and one soul.
I breathe you in,
And breathe you out,
No matter what you send.
I breathe you in,
And breathe you out, Lord God,
Until life’s end.
💛
I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.
(Psalm 146:2; NLT).
Thank you, Ruth!
You’re more than welcome! XXXXX
XOXOXOXXO from our Daddy :D
Simply beautiful Ruth, a wonderful encouragement! Thank you and God bless you sister.
Thank you so much, Alan. How are you today? XXXXX
Today has been tiring, one hour drive to hospital and nearly double that coming home at peak time. The good news is that my tumour is static and not growing at present, all the glory belongs to Him!
How tiring this journey must be for you, Alan, but I share your delight that your tumour is stable, and not growing. That’s very positive. May God bless you today, my brother xxxxxx
Beautiful Ruth! I found myself singing the hymn Breath on Me Breath of God when I finished reading your poem which goes, “Breath on me, Breath of God/ Fill me with life anew,/ that I may love the way you love/ and do what you would do.” However, your poem gives this so much more depth as I think on what I in turn breath out. Hope you are well! I pray for you each morning as I am out walking.
Hi Beth, what a wonderful comment! I’m so glad this poem lifted your heart. Thank you for your prayers, which I deeply appreciate. I pray for you before I get weighed each morning, and often think of you xxxx.
Hi, Beth, your message has inspired a new prayer, which I’d like to dedicate to you. It’s not quite finished yet. Next to the title, it would say:
(for B.A.).
Is that acceptable? XXXXX
Hi Beth, did you receive the message I sent you a few days ago? I’ve written a prayer for you, and wrote to ask if you were happy for me to dedicate it to you when it’s posted? XXXXX
Ruth, I didn’t receive a message. Try sending it again- lessonsfromalab@gmail.com
