I am nothing but dust.
(Genesis 18:27; NIV).
He cares for those who trust in him.
(Nahum 1:7; NIV).
1. I’m nothing,
Yet I know you care,
Because, Lord God,
You help me.
2. I’m nothing,
Yet I know you care,
Because, Lord,
You inspire me.
3. I’m nothing,
Yet I know you care,
Because, Lord God,
You heal me.
4. I’m nothing,
Yet I know you care,
Because, Lord,
You forgive me.

What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honour (Psalm 8:4-5; NLT).

My tiny mind can’t comprehend the love of Almighty God for weak and broken humanity, such as me, but I am thankful beyond measure for it!
I echo this, entirely, Alan xxxxx
I love the humility and comfort that join together in this poem.
