May we all repent

Each of you must repent and turn to God, and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38; NLT).

Father,
May we all repent,
And turn to you, our Lord;
Then be baptised
In Jesus’ name,
As he forgives our sin.

Father,
May we all receive
Your gift: the Holy Ghost;
Take up our cross,
And follow Christ,
And try to grow like him.

Father,
May we all give up
Our hateful, selfish ways;
Put others first,
Accept your will,
And serve you all our days.

If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me (Luke 9:23; NLT).

My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done (Matthew 26:42; NIV).
