Your light within

Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live (Psalm 43:3; NLT).

Give me, Lord, your light within,
Then I’ll never go astray.

Grant me, Lord, your fire within,
Then my fears will melt away.

Give me, Lord, your peace within,
Then I’ll praise, despite my pain.

Grant me, Lord, your truth within,
Then each loss will be a gain.

Give me, Lord, your love within,
Then I’ll serve by doing good.

Grant me, Lord, your life within,
Then I’ll be your flesh and blood.

Don’t you realise that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16; NLT).
