I am the way

As I said grace before breakfast yesterday, this little prayer made a direct hit on me. I had to write it down immediately.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me” (John 14:6; NLT).

I am the way
You must seek
For yourself.

I am the truth
You must find
Deep within.

I am the life
You must follow
Each day,

So: seek me,
And find me,
Then follow, and pray.

Pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17; NIV).
