11.6.23: Heaven is within

During a time of wordless prayer yesterday, these verses broke through the light, and I had to write them down immediately.

Will I, who causes others to give birth, not also give birth myself, says the Lord? Will I, who bestows generation upon others, be barren myself, says the Lord your God? (Isaiah 66:9; CPDV).

Yahweh, my Mother and Father,
Jesus, my Lord, and my God,
Spirit, my constant Companion:
You are my staff and my rod.

Yahweh, you make and sustain me,
Jesus, you walk by my side,
Spirit, you pray deep within me:
You are my Teacher and Guide.

Yahweh, you know me, and love me,
Jesus, you cleanse all my sin,
Spirit, you comfort and help me:
Heaven, with You, is within.

The kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21; KJV).

God said to Moses, “I am Yahweh – ‘the Lord’ (Exodus 6:2; NLT).

“The personal name of God, Yahweh, which is revealed to Moses in Exodus 3, is a remarkable combination of both female and male grammatical endings. The first part of God’s name in Hebrew, “Yah,” is feminine, and the last part, “weh,” is masculine” (David Wheeler-Reed, ncronline.org).

For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant (Isaiah 42:14; NIV).

You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth (Deuteronomy 32:18; NIV).

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name (Matthew 6:9; RSV).

My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed (John 20:28; NLT).

The life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being (Job 12:10; NLT).

Be sure of this: I am with you always (Matthew 28:20; NLT).

I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help you and always be with you (John 14:16; CEV).

The Spirit, too, comes to help us in our weakness. For we don’t know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit expresses our plea with groanings too deep for words. And God, who knows everything in our hearts, knows perfectly well what the Spirit is saying, because her intercessions for God’s holy people are made according to the mind of God (Romans 8:26-7; TIB).

O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me (Psalm 138:1; NLT).

He loves us with unfailing love; the LORD‘s faithfulness endures forever (Psalm 117:2; NLT).

This is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many (Matthew 26:28; NLT).

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me (Psalm 23:4; NLT).

We are the temple of the living God (2 Corinthians 6:16; NLT).

Christ lives within you (Romans 8:10; NLT).

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you (Romans 8:11; NLT).
