9.10.23: God sees

As I was settling down to sleep a few nights ago, this simple prayer came straight into my heart. I gladly switched the light back on, and wrote it down immediately.

You are the God who sees me (Genesis 16:13; NLT).

There’s nothing you don’t see, Lord God,
There’s nothing you don’t hear.
Nothing is concealed from you,
For you are always near.

There’s nothing you don’t grasp, Lord God,
And share, and understand.
There’s nothing you don’t know,
For we are always in your hand.

The life of every living thing is in his hand (Job 12:10; NLT).
