I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed (Psalm 61:2; NLT).
I’m overwhelmed
By prayers each day,
Astonished by your words.
Out of the silence, Lord, they come
To teach me:
May your will be done.
I write them down,
And share them, Lord,
Doing the best I can.
May they help others, and reveal
That yours are the only hands
Which heal.
