Deliver us

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13; KJV).

Deliver us
From all temptation:
Keep us, Lord,
From doing wrong.

Then we will rejoice
In you,
For though we’re weak, Lord,
You are strong.

Deliver us
From doing evil;
Keep us from
Deliberate sin.

Then we will not grieve
