The less I am

He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less (John 3:30; NLT).

The less I am,
The more you mean to me –

You are my way, my truth,
And my vocation.

The less I am,
The more I love you, Lord:

You are my life, my God,
And my salvation.

O LORD, You are my God! (Isaiah 25:1; MSB).

The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him (Exodus 15:2; NIV).
