The spirit of God is in my nostrils (Job 27:3; ESV).
Your Spirit comes anew
With every breath;
With every prayer,
And every heartfelt sigh
Of sorrow, anguish,
Fear, despair, or pain –
Until we see you
Face to face, again.
Now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12; NIV).
The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7; NIV).
