Your crown of thorns
Became a crown of gold –
Lord, I will search for you
Till I behold
Your face, transfigured,
Shining like the sun.
Then, I’ll be changed,
And your forgiveness come
With healing. Jesus,
I’ll be crowned, like you,
Then, all my pain
Will be transfigured, too.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever (Revelation 21:4; NLT).
You have turned my sorrow into joyful dancing. No longer am I sad and wearing sackcloth. I thank you from my heart, and I will never stop singing your praises, my LORD and my God (Psalm 30:11; CEV).
