When I thirst

I love you, Lord (Psalm 18:1; NLT).

I love you, Lord, my God,
And when I thirst
To see your face,
I gaze on Jesus.

I love you, Christ, my Friend,
And when I long
To see your face,
I look at others.

I love you, Holy Ghost,
And when I yearn
To see your face,
I search within.

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you (Romans 8:11; NLT).
