Tell God (for D.Q.)

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need (Philippians 4:6; NLT).

Tell God all you long for;
Tell God all your needs;
Tell God all your troubles –
Now your prayer’s begun.

Tell God what you thirst for:
The Spirit intercedes;
Tell God all your heart’s desire –
Then say, “Your will be done”.

He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine” (Matthew 26:39; NLT).
