From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near” (Matthew 4:17; NLT).
Lord,
I turn to you each day,
Knowing you’re the only way.
My truth in darkness, day and night:
I worship you, for you are light.
Lord,
I turn to you in prayer,
Knowing you are always there
Within my mind, my heart, my blood:
I worship you, for you are love.
Lord,
I turn to you in fear,
Knowing you are always here –
My help, my strength, my soul’s release:
I worship you, for you are peace.
Lord,
I turn to you in loss,
Knowing that you share my cross;
My Blessed One, in bread and wine,
I worship you, for you are mine.
Lord,
I turn to you in pain,
Knowing you have come to reign:
In life and death you set me free
To follow, and to worship thee.
Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me” (Mark 8:34; NLT).
So they worshiped him and then returned to Jerusalem filled with great joy (Luke 24:52; NLT).
Thank you my darling Ruth for this lovely prayer. I am going through the mill at the moment. The anaesthetic just messes up my body. I love you, my darling sister in Christ. You are always in my prayers.

Dear Bea, please, please email me to let me know how you are suffering, and how you want me to pray for you. I am so sorry to hear how badly the anaesthetic has affected you, and hope very much that your doctors can understand and help you as much as possible. With much love from Ruth XXXXXX
