Soaked with love

I pray, kneeling before the Father, from whom every family, whether spiritual or natural, takes its name: Out of his infinite glory, may he give you the power through his Spirit for your hidden self to grow strong, so that Christ may live in your hearts through faith …

My bones are soaked
With your love, Lord God;
My blood is the same as Christ’s;
My mind is the home
Of your Holy Ghost:
This closeness will suffice.

My heart belongs
To your Son, Lord God;
My soul bows down at his feet;
My strength is yours –
It is yours alone:
Our oneness is complete.

… Then, planted in love and built on love, you will with all the saints have strength to grasp the breadth and the length, the height and the depth; until, knowing the love of Christ, which is beyond all knowledge, you are filled with the utter fullness of God (Ephesians 3:14-19; JB).

    • How very kind! Thank you so much George. As with all these prayers, it came to me silently: I didn’t think of it myself. With love from Ruth XXXX

    • Thank you so much for saying that, Bea. Today I’ve realised that I can’t manage the videos any more. You have given me hope that this will be okay. With love from Ruth XXXXX
