Lord,
You’re all around me,
Yet I cannot take your hand,
So I must walk in faith alone,
And serve at your command.
Lord,
You’re close beside me,
Yet I cannot see your face,
So I must walk in hope alone,
And long for your embrace.
Lord,
You’re here, within me,
Yet I cannot hear your voice,
So I must walk in love alone,
And trust in you by choice.
You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him (Deuteronomy 30:20; NLT).
