Prayer

Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples” (Luke 11:1; NLT).

Blessed are those who believe without seeing me (John 20:29; NLT).

To pray is to long for God,
Searching and sighing.

To pray is to wait for God,
Lonely and crying.

To pray is to speak to God,
Trusting, not seeing.

To pray is to live in God,
One with God’s Being.

In him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28; NIV).
