One God

The LORD our God is one (Deuteronomy 6:4; NIV).

I am the First and the Last; there is no other God (Isaiah 44:6; NLT).

One God, forever, and for all:
You hear us every time we call.

One God, who makes us, and sustains:
You go by many, much-loved names.

One God, who listens, and forgives:
You work through everyone who lives.

One God, who helps and loves us all:
You lift us up each time we fall.

One God, who dwells within our soul:
You long to heal, and make us whole.

The LORD longs to be gracious to you (Isaiah 30:18; NIV).

He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole! (Job 5:18; NLT).
