In pain, you share my suffering,
Whilst, Jesus, I share yours.
We also share with those enduring
Sickness, strife, and wars.
In fear, you share my suffering,
Whilst, Lord, I share your own.
We also share with those who must
Face tears and dread, alone.
In grief, I share your suffering,
Whilst, Jesus, you share mine.
We also share with those who mourn
Until the end of time.
In life, I share your suffering,
Whilst, Lord, you share mine, too;
So, may we share with everyone,
Till you make all things new.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” (Revelation 21:4-5; NLT).
Rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory (1Peter 4:13; CSB).
