Plans

When I wake up, you are still with me! (Psalm 139:18; NLT).

Good morning, God!
I’ve made my plans –
And yet, my day
Is in your hands.

Help me to cope
With all you send –
Ready to thank you,
And transcend

Whatever comes,
Both bad and good,
With courage, honesty,
And love.

Creator,
May your kingdom come,
And here, on earth,
Your will be done.
