God is love (1 John 4:16; NIV).
Love is the sight
Of bees at work,
Of buds unfurling
In bright summer sun.
Love is the sound
Of gentle rain,
Of silence falling
When each day is done.
Love is the flow
Of care for all,
Of people helping
Wherever they go.
Love is the pulse
Of wordless prayer,
And God responding
By helping us grow.
