Your words from God and my life seem to be running parallel! I have been living a painful desert time for weeks waiting for medical news and help and nothing except darkness and silence.
But the verse from Exodus, Moses going into the darkness where God was, has been on my mind for days and there it is again – this morning’s blog from you!

Your blog on Hands is yet another amazing message/Prayer as I had an operation on my right hand on Wednesday and on my left hand in 2 weeks time!! So I have a heavily bandaged hand and bruising is creeping up my arm. Your blog was so appropriate I called out to God in thankfulness and shared it with my precious husband.
God’s care is unlike anything else on earth and I can’t remember how you and I ever became ‘sisters’ in Christ. Was it Keith Bucknell? Whatever and whoever – I just want to thank you for your obedient listening to God and sharing with us.

Oh, Ruth, you made my heart rejoice! When I write what God gives me, I have no idea who it is for, or who it might touch. It’s like writing in a bubble of love. When someone tells me it was for them, I feel so delighted and blessed. I pray that your right hand will soon be much, much better, and that the surgery on your left hand will go really well. Life can be so hard, but God knows everything we need to learn from experience, and is with us every step of the way. God is truly amazing! Please could you give my very best wishes to your husband? I pray for him every day. I can’t remember how we met, either, but Keith is a genius at getting to know people and bringing them together, so my guess is that it was through him.
