Prayer

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30; NIV).

“I am nothing but dust and ashes” (Genesis 18:27; NIV).

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast (1 Peter 5:10; NIV).

God is light; in him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5; NIV).

For the LORD your God is a consuming fire (Deuteronomy 4:24; NIV).

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love (1 John 4:8; NIV).

Father,
Here I am –
Though I am nothing before you.

My flesh is weak –
Please fill me with your strength.

My mind is dull –
Please fill me with your light.

My heart is cold –
Please fill me with your fire.

My soul is spent –
Please fill me with your love.
