I feel like giving up;
Turning my face to the wall,
And giving up.
Yet with your help, Lord,
I can scale this wall,
And stand up to a multitude
For with you
There is strength, Lord God,
But without you
So I gave up in despair (Ecclesiasticus 2:20; NLT).
When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall (2 Kings 20:2; NLT).
With your help I can advance against a troop, with my God I can scale a wall (2 Samuel 22:30; NIV).
The Lord God is my strength (Isaiah 12:2; NLT).
He heals the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3; NLT).
You lived in this world without God and without hope (Ephesians 2:12; NLT).
Day and night I have only tears for food (Psalm 42:3; NLT).
