The blogs posted today and yesterday are mirror images. Today’s is about other people seeing God in us. Yesterday’s was about us seeing God in others.
When I’m with a neighbour
May they recognise
Your presence in me, Lord,
So they will see you in my eyes.
When I greet a stranger
May they seek and find
Your presence in me, Lord,
As they discover you are kind.
When I meet a foreigner
May they understand
Your presence in me, Lord,
Then they will gladly take my hand.
When somebody hurts me
May they grasp anew
Your presence in me, Lord,
When I forgive them, just like you.
