It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God
(Hebrews 10:31; NIV).
1. You are the potter,
We, your jars of clay;
Yet some prefer to think
You don’t exist.
2. You send both good and bad
To help us grow,
But we don’t want to change,
So we resist.
3. Yet, when we have to face
A crisis, Lord,
Our frailty
Is suddenly revealed.
4. At last, we see:
Our lives are in your hands;
We call your name,
And beg, Lord, to be healed.
