May I walk

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
(Genesis 1:1; NLT).

Father,

1. May I walk with care,
For all the earth is sacred.

2. May I walk with tears of joy,
For I am heaven-bound.

3. May I walk with deep respect,
For you, Lord, live in all you make.

4. May I walk with humble love,
For I’m on holy ground.

  • Walking with humble love on holy ground. What a picture! If the whole earth is filled with His glory: then we’d best act like it. Blessings, dear sister. Your words always encourage, and the scripture references are the icing on the 🎂 cake.

    • You say the kindest things! Whenever I’m weary, and doing my references feels like a chore, I think of your appreciation, and crack on with a will! xxxxxx

      • My kind words are with the deepest sincerity, Ruth. Your poetry is an inspiration AND you share the scriptures to back it up—just in case folk don’t get the intended message. Keep shining for Christ!
