It’s dreadful

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31; NIV).

It’s dreadful, Lord,
To fall into your hands,
Although there’s nowhere else
I’d rather be.

It’s terrible
To gaze upon your face,
Although there’s no one else
I’d rather see.

It’s harrowing
To touch your hands and feet,
Although there’s nothing else
I’d rather do.

It’s ecstasy
To share your warm embrace –
Because there is no other god
But you.

There is no other god but me! (Deuteronomy 32:39; NLT).
