Faith, hope and love


My God, My God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? (Psalm 22:1; NIV).

When faith has ebbed,
And hope is gone,
And love is broken
On the cross,

We’ll see your face,
Receive your kiss,
And feast, as you
Bring joy from loss.

So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him (Luke 15:20; NLT).
