Jesus, save me!

Don’t run from suffering; embrace it (Matthew 16:24-26; TM).

Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted (Matthew 14:29-30; NLT).

Jesus, save me!
Give me courage:
Help me now
To face my fear.

Thank you, Lord,
For being with me:
I believe
That you are here.

Help me, as my faith
Is tested:
Strengthen me,
And bring me through.

May I drink this cup
As you did:
Lord,
I put my trust in you.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you (Psalm 56:3; NIV).
