I cling to you

I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely (Psalm 63:8; NLT).

The more I hurt and suffer, Lord,
The tighter I will cling to you.

Nothing, Lord, can break our bond,
For we are one in love, not two.

No matter how much pain you send,
I’ll bless your name, give thanks, and pray,

Until you come to end my life,
And take my soul away.

After I have gone and prepared you a place, I shall return to take you with me (John 14:1-6; JB).
