As I looked at everything I had worked so hard to accomplish, it was all so meaningless – like chasing the wind. There was nothing really worthwhile anywhere (Ecclesiastes 2:11; NLT).
Jesus,
You make everything
Worthwhile:
Joy and sorrow;
Times of prayer;
Each smile;
Triumph and failure;
Conflict, pain,
And loss.
We follow you, Jesus,
Carrying
Our cross.
Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23; NLT).
