Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves (Matthew 7:15; NIV).
Some people try to make us trust
Those we should not trust,
Whilst others work to make us fear
Those we need not fear.
Some people want to make us love
Those we do not love,
Whilst others scheme to make us hate
Those we do not hate.
They do this for their gain alone,
To bend us to their will.
They love to dominate, divide,
Manipulate, and sneer.
So let’s think for ourselves, instead!
Be wise; be strong; resist!
Don’t hide, pretend, or bow to them,
For none but God is great!
Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people (Matthew 24:11; NIV).
God is great! (Psalm 70:4; NLT).
