Notice how God is both kind and severe
(Romans 11:22; NLT).
1. Matchless, mighty,
King of kings,
I worship you –
Please hear my sighs.
2. Peerless, perfect,
Lord of lords,
I honour you –
Please hear my cries.
3. Sacred, spotless,
God of gods,
I trust in you –
Please hear my call.
4. Flawless, faithful,
First and Last,
I bow to you,
Who loves us all.
He loves us with unfailing love
(Psalm 117:2; NLT).

How lovely! Many thanks XXXX
How I love your devotional poems in this style Ruth, they are beautiful and generous in their layers. This is not unlike a spiritual onion, you peel back one layer to get delighted by the next one. In this the layers are the divine attributes of our Lord and Saviour, each one worthy of long meditation on their own. Thank you Ruth, may our Father bless you abundantly today.
May God bless you for these kind words today, Alan. I’ll be interested to see how you respond to tomorrow’s blog, the second of a pair XXXXX
I look forward to it! 😉
