1. Live in eternity;
Dwell in God’s hands.
2. Rest in his presence;
Obey his commands.
3. Thank him for everything,
Joyful, and sad.
4. Never stop praying,
And always be glad.

Couplet 3 is my favorite. “Thank Him for everything—joyful and sad.”
As a line from one of my favorite movies (Forrest Gump) says, “Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.” But God is a faithful overseer of our souls. More faithful than we could ever be! Thank you for your consistent daily offerings, sister Ruth. They are ALWAYS a blessing. I tell anyone who will listen about your beautiful faith-filled poems!
May God preserve you—body, soul and spirit. 🙏💕 Blessings.
David, that has got to be the best use of a Forrest Gump quote I have ever seen! Well said brother. 😁

God’s only knows how many “ones” there are that your words encourage. All praise to Him!
