You must love the Lord your God with all your heart,
all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.
(Luke 10:27; NLT).
I love you with all my strength,
Though it’s so small;
Love you with all my mind,
The best I can;
Love you with all my heart, Lord,
Through and through;
Love you with all my soul –
You know it’s true.
My strength, though small,
Is stouter than my mind;
My mind, though frail,
More faithful than my heart;
My heart, though weak,
Is tougher than my soul –
But, Lord, I cleave to you,
So I am whole.

Whoever cleaves to our Lord becomes one spirit with him.
(1 Corinthians 6:17; PHBT).
Amen sister! The word “cleave” is a good word, stronger than “join” – both come from the Greek “kollaō” meaning to cement or to glue together! Now that is the relationship I want with our Lord!
Wonderful! I remember this word from learning Bible passages by heart at school XXXXXX
