Agoraphobia

The prayers in this section of my website are intended for use by all who live with mental suffering. This one is for people with agoraphobia, which I share, and can be said in preparation for facing any feared situation. If written clearly on a card, or learned by heart (preferably both), it can also be said repeatedly throughout a panic attack, whilst waiting for it to pass.

Your hand will guide me, and your strength support me (Psalm 139:10; NLT).

1. Jesus,
Guide and Counsellor,
You know the cross I bear.

2. Jesus,
Mighty God and King,
You walk with me, and care.

3. Jesus,
Everlasting Father,
You are always here.

4. Jesus,
Prince of Peace, my Shepherd,
Help me face this fear.
