Spirit, in temptation:
Hear my plea.
Father God, in anger,
Jesus, in alarm,
Spirit, in temptation:
Come to me.
Father God, in sorrow,
Jesus, in distress,
Spirit, in temptation:
You are near.
Father God, in failure,
Jesus, in despair,
Spirit, in temptation:
You are here.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me
(Psalm 23:4; NLT).
