Love
* If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God (1 John 4:15; NIV).
* No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us (1 John 4:12; NIV).
* Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin (Psalm 51:2; NIV).
Father,
We know that
If we love one another,
You will live in us,
We will live in you,
And your love
Will be made complete in us.
We invite you to make your home
In our degraded bodies,
Our withered hearts,
Our sinful minds,
Our blighted souls.
Please wash away our sins,
And fill us, so we overflow
With love for others –
For only then will your love
Be made complete in us.
